Tune Up
A Tune Up is where we adjust your computer's settings and remove junk to make it run more efficient and faster.
What is involved in a Tune Up?
De-fragmenting - A process that reduces the amount of fragmentation in file systems. It does this by physically organizing the contents of the disk to store the pieces of each file close together and contiguously. It also attempts to create larger regions of free space using compaction to impede the return of fragmentation.
Registry Clean -A software utility that attempts to remove configuration data from the Windows Registry that is no longer in use or that is unwanted on the system. Such data may include information left by software that has not been uninstalled completely from the computer, information that is no longer of use, or settings required for the operation of malware. A registry cleaner scans the registry, and attempts to pick out the unnecessary values in order to delete or repair them.
Start Up Files -Lots of things are loaded at when you first start up your computer. Most of them are not required until you actually use the program. Examples of programs starting that are not required: Quicktime, Nero Check, Java Update, ToolBars, Phone Tools, Camera Tools and much more
Unwanted Toolbars -Ever notice when you have just installed a program that you have somehow got another toolbar and it's cramping your screen. Sometimes there are Yahoo, Google and Messenger Toolbars all activated. Most people do not require all these to run and more often than not they are causing browser conflicts and slow Internet Time.
Clutter Cleanup -This is where the computer has left a lot of files left over from installations, downloaded pictures, programs and updates. We clean out the following: Internet Explorer Cache Files and History, Temporary Folder for installations.
*Dust and Dirt* -Rejuvinate your computer with a full clean out, the whole computer will be free from dust and dirt. The CPU Fan and Power Supply Fan will be cleaned and inspected for wear and tare ** This service incurs an additional charge**
